According to Ebizdir, South Africa is the best value for money… A hamburger costs about $1.50, and a sumptuous lobster dinner can be ordered for only about $15. You can safely afford a large selection of drinks: a glass of beer costs about $0.50, a gin and tonic – $0.60. A cup of coffee costs about $0.40. Smokers may be surprised by the cost of a pack of cigarettes, as low as $0.80, while motorists will be pleasantly surprised by the cost of gasoline, only about $0.25 per litre. Want to have fun in South Africa? You can buy a ticket to the theater – from $3 or to the cinema – $2.50. Also, a great incentive to replenish the home photo collection will be the cost of film, only about $ 2-3.

You will discover that South Africa is simply a beautiful country… Picturesque landscapes include both the lush forests and flowering glades of the Garden Route (Road Gardens), and the sand dunes of the Kalahari Desert. The mysterious Dragon Mountains offer breathtaking panoramic views of their emerald slopes to the traveler’s eye, while the wine valleys are distinguished by a bright palette of colors. The bush wilderness is a great alternative to a South African vacation away from the stresses of civilization, and the wide prairies inland create a wonderful feeling of total freedom.

South Africa is closer than you think… easy to get to and no jet lag due to flying across multiple time zones. Which is especially important when you return home. There is almost no difference in time: in our summer – minus 1 hour, in winter minus 2 hours. A number of airlines fly to South Africa, offering more than 10 flights a day to Johannesburg or Cape Town. More details can be found in the “How to get there?” section. Most departures are in the evening, arriving in the morning the next day – so you have time to relax and take a nap before arrival to gain strength for new discoveries and experiences.

South Africa – has an enviable climate… The reasons are that in South Africa it’s the other way around, when we have winter – they have summer in the Southern Hemisphere. Therefore, in order to hide from severe frosts in winter, there is no better place to be found. Even though the winters here are quite mild, this is an ideal time for safari trips, as the less lush vegetation gives more chances to see wildlife. The Indian Ocean is perpetually warm and the humidity is at its lowest during the winter months of June and July

South Africa is a wonderland of wildlife and an eco-tourism paradise… Reserves rich in wildlife can be found across the country in South Africa. Many of them are inhabited by the “Big Five” – lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros and buffalo. National parks such as, for example, the world-famous Kruger Park – the size of Wales – opens its gates mainly to self-drive tourists and offers accommodation in park motels, mostly self-catering. Private reserves are geared towards international guests. They offer exciting safaris at dawn or before sunset, in open jeeps or on foot, but always accompanied by experienced rangers who are ready to share their knowledge and pride in their beautiful country with the guests. Lodges and campsites in the reserves are always furnished with luxury, as well as offering safe comfort and service at the highest level. Dinners often take place outdoors, under the stars, around a large fire. With a coastline stretching over 2,000 miles from the Atlantic in the west to the Indian Ocean in the east, South Africa is the perfect place for a seaside getaway. A huge selection of water activities – from diving among coral reefs, surfing, windsurfing, fishing and ending with sunbathing.

South Africa – experiencing an African renaissance… invites guests to experience the traditional and modern African lifestyle. Ethnographic villages await guests throughout the country, allowing you to get acquainted with the diverse cultural heritage of various ethnic groups, while city tours introduce travelers to the modern life of urban Africa. It should be noted here that most of the local residents of South Africa come from Africa, however, at the same time, there are many immigrants from Europe, Southeast Asia, India and from all over the world. South Africa is described as the “Rainbow of Nations” and visitors to this country have the opportunity to meet with an intriguing, multi-cultural mosaic, but feel among the population the never-ending pride of being one people under one beautiful and hospitable roof of South Africa

South Africa is the best place for those who love Wildlife… and not only for those whose ultimate dream is a safari trip, but also for the adventurous. A huge selection of active entertainment in South Africa – from hiking to horseback riding, from rafting to whale watching. Golf is one of the popular recreational areas, football, rugby and cricket are also well developed. In the cities you will not be bored either – all kinds of festivals and all kinds of souvenirs in the handicraft markets, a rich architectural heritage, a huge selection of shops and shopping centers, and after dark you will find a rich nightlife.

South Africa – a very developed infrastructure… Domestic airlines cover the entire territory of South Africa. The traffic is left-hand, the quality is expensive and makes independent travel by car a pleasure. A large list of car rental companies, including all the major international car rental companies such as HERTZ, AVIS, and others, which offer a wide range of models – from compact to limousines, SUVs and even motor homes. If you are looking for real comfort and truly top-notch service, book tickets on one of the luxury trains (Blue Train or Rovos Rail), or book a nostalgic tour on the popular old train from the early 20th century.

South Africa – high standards of hospitality… A wide range of good quality hotels for every taste and budget – from luxurious 5 * stars to small hotels of the B&B system. Excellent cuisine is also an integral part of a great holiday in South Africa. Taste a typical South African ranch, an endless array of fresh seafood, authentic original curries, and dishes from all over the world. Barbecue, locally “braai” is a mandatory attribute, part of the South African lifestyle. Steaks, chicken, all kinds of meat (crocodile, ostrich,…) and boerewors (spicy sausages) on the grill can be found almost everywhere. South African wines are now considered some of the best in the world – and again, the best value for money – for example, a standard 3-course dinner costs about $7-10 – and a bottle of excellent wine in a restaurant costs $4-6 (!). An important element of your trip to South Africa, which, of course, every visitor will highly appreciate for himself, is the cultural diversity of South Africa, adjacent to the warm and cordial welcome of its hospitable people!
