There are a few things you can and should do before your baby is born because they will make your life easier in the early days when you will not have the time or the time for some tasks.
The expectation of a baby is something special, during pregnancy we are delirious with all the kicks, ultrasound and little clothes, but from the moment the baby is born our life changes.
Being a mother is wonderful but also exhausting, especially in the first few months when the newborn needs our full attention, sleepless nights, body aches, baby cramps … after the baby is born we want to enjoy every minute of bed rest .
What to do before your baby is born
If you do not have a husband with cooking skills, or someone from the family who helps you in the early days, the ideal is to prepare food in advance and freeze it.
There are many foods that can be made and then only need to heat or put in the oven: soup, lasagne, pie …
In the early days you will not feel like going out to the grocery store and we all know that men and grocery lists do not match.
It is best to prepare the waiver before the baby is born.
Remember that you will receive visitors in the early days and it is always nice to offer a drink or something to snack on (although it is good to have visitors refuse or bring something for the snack).
Take advantage of the latest pregnancy times to organize everything at home, the simpler the better.
Organize your home so that it is easy to keep it always flawless.
If the baby is born in a change of season, prepare the changes of the clothes in advance. If you are born in a festive season such as Christmas or a special someone’s birthday, buy gifts first.
Layette baby and mother
Make sure you buy everything you need for yourself and your baby. Check the lists of available layouts and do not forget you will need breastfeeding discs and breastfeeding bra.
Enjoy the times before the baby is born to treat you. Pamper yourself with a massage, a facial cleanser, hair treatment, waxing and nails.
After the baby is born it will take some time to have time just for you to pamper yourself. Keeping your esteem high before and after giving birth is critical.
Date a lot
Take the time to spend some time with two, or three if you have more children.
Enjoy your free time to go to the movies, read a book, dine out or gather friends at a snack or dinner.
This is my favorite. Enjoy to sleep a lot. After the baby is born it can take months or years to get a full night’s sleep.
