is 6 years in the Micronesia Federation. The high school is
divided into 2 + 2 years. The country has a teacher's
college at Ponape, the Community College of Micronesia
(founded in 1970), and in 1990 opened the Micronesia
Maritime and Fisheries Academy at Yap.
