CES 2013: Successor of the LG Optimus G is Presented

The new LG Optimus G2 is presented at this year’s Electronics Show CES in Las Vegas today and this should be the highlight from the perspective of the South Korean automaker. According to reports, the successor of the Optimus G should have a virtually borderless 5.5 inch full HD display.

Not even the Optimus G arrived at us in Germany and already presented the successor at the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas. The flagship will appear also at the end of this year on the market.

The new LG Optimus G2 has a 5.5-inch full-HD display and speculation that an incredible pixel density of 440 ppi. Ppi is the point density. The higher the value the more high-quality resolution. Comparison: the iPhone 5 has a Pixeldicht 326 ppi. At a such high pixel density, the human eye can see not individual pixels. In addition, the new Smartphone has an almost rimless display and a super-fast 2 GHz Snapdragon-S4-quad-core processor. More technical details are not yet known

And the Optimus G2 is not all of what the South Korean manufacturer at the fair. It will be presented this year also the new LG Z360 Ultrabook at CES. It is a hybrid of a notebook and Tablet and you want to run with the new Windows 8. Also this brand new Ultrabook is extremely slim. The only 13.6 mm thin device to be powered by an Intel Core i5 processor. Also, no further details were announced so far.

The LG displays are even thinner by a new HD technology in the future. These new screens should be used both in smartphones and tablets. More details about the latest LG devices are only announced in the coming days. We can surprise us, the South Korean manufacturer has to offer us.
