School and Education in Michigan

Michigan is a state in the Great Lakes and Midwestern region of the United States. It is bordered by four of the five Great Lakes, Lake Superior to the north, Lake Michigan to the east, Lake Huron to the east and Lake Erie to the south. The state is separated from Wisconsin by two peninsulas. Michigan also borders Canada to the north, with Ontario on its northern border.

There are also several large rivers in Michigan including the Detroit River that forms part of its border with Ontario as well as other rivers such as Kalamazoo River and Saginaw River which flow into Lake Huron or Lake Michigan respectively.
