It is bordered by Montana to the east, Wyoming to the east and south, Utah and Nevada to the south, Washington and Oregon to the west, and Canada to the north. Idaho also has many lakes including Coeur d’Alene Lake near Coeur d’Alene; Priest Lake near Priest River; Pend Oreille Lake near Sandpoint; Bear Lake; American Falls Reservoir; Grays Lake; Bear Lake on Utah-Idaho border; Redfish Lake near Stanley; Payette Lakes north of McCall; Payette Lake at McCall; Bear Creek Reservoir at Island Park; C J Strike Reservoir southwest of Boise on Snake River. The highest point in Idaho is Borah Peak which stands at 12662 ft (3859 m). The lowest point is Lewiston at 710 ft (216 m). The University of Idaho in Moscow is the state’s flagship university, offering over 135 undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Boise State University, located in downtown Boise, is the state’s largest university, with more than 200 fields of study available to its students. Idaho State University in Pocatello offers over 250 academic programs and is known for its strong health sciences programs. Lewis–Clark State College in Lewiston offers liberal arts and professional degrees, as well as education programs. Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa provides over 80 undergraduate majors and minors as well as a variety of master’s degree programs.
